Fundraising:-

You are encouraged to use the next event on 3rd March 2012 to do your own fundraising should you wish to do so.

For your convenience you may set the event up on www.mycharity.ie where you can select your own charity if you wish to do  - Please click here to be directed to the fundraising section of mycharity.ie where you can create you personal fundraising page.

Please note that if donating through mycharity.ie they deduct 3% from your donation for their costs, bank fees, etc.

You are of course free to fundraise in any way you wish.

Any fundraising done the responsibility of the participants and there is no obligation for any minimum fundraising amount for any designated charity.

 

 Suggestions for RAISING MONEY FOR YOUR CHARITY/CLUB/SCHOOL
- Design your own fundraising card with your logo on top and say 100 lines on each card.
- Sell each line at €3/line, therefore each card sold should raise €300.
- Every 100 cards sold raises €30,000 for your given charity/club/school
- In order to keep expenses low, book online group entry early to avail of discounted entry cost.

 It is completely up to individuals to account for any monies raised through this event.

Charity:

The 5 Charities that benefited from a share of proceeds from the 2011 Runamuck Spring Challenge event were:

1.   Pashli - Belarus Orphanage Charity

2.   Down Syndrome Centre

3.   Pieta House - Self-harm and Suicide Support

4.   Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Research

5.   Chernobyl Aid Ireland

All of the above charities had large groups participating in the event to raise additional funds for their worthy causes.

We look forward to supporting some other charities with future events

All proceeds (€7,260) from the inaugral Runamuck Spring Challenge in March 2010 have gone to charity

All marshalls on the day, the Robinson family and Multisport Adventure Ireland all gave their services completely free for the inaugural event.

The Niall Mellon Township Trust was the beneficiary from the inaugral event as chosen by our event host Louis Robinson.
